Nobody posts this part. By the time a set goes live, the messy hour that got it there is already forgotten, so here's some of it while it's still fresh.

Friday's set started with a single reference photo and a location nobody on the team had shot in before: bare concrete, one window, no soft surfaces anywhere in the room. Half the plan fell apart on arrival. The light that looked right in the reference photo read completely different once an actual person was standing in the space, so the first ninety minutes were just moving one lamp four inches at a time and arguing about whether "moody" had quietly become "just dark."

Katerina, to her credit, stood through most of that in heels without complaining once, which is its own kind of professionalism nobody puts in the caption.

By the time the camera actually came out, three different versions of the lighting plan had already been abandoned. The one that stuck wasn't the one anyone walked in expecting. That's usually how it goes.

None of this shows up in the finished photo. That's sort of the point of a BTS post existing at all.
