Nobody posts this part. By the time a photo looks like it just happened on its own, the version of the morning that actually got it there is already forgotten, so here's some of it while it's still fresh.

The plan was to shoot Jenna at the window seat in the kitchen nook, straight on, letting the morning light do the work the way it usually does. It worked for about four minutes. Then the light moved fast enough that the whole frame went from soft to flat, and the team ended up dragging the little breakfast table across the floor, chasing the same patch of light like it owed them something.

What actually made the final shots work wasn't the window seat at all. It was a chair pulled in too close to the table, off to one side, half in shadow, coffee going cold because nobody wanted to break the moment to microwave it. That wasn't the plan. It's just what the room gave up once everyone stopped trying to force the original setup.

None of that shows up in the finished photo. That's sort of the point of a note like this existing at all.
